Grace has gone to Louisiana
Grace McKenzie has left the Irish soil to join McNeese State University on a 4 year athletics scholarship for Multi Events and High Jump. Grace now follows the footsteps of other famous Cork athletes Fanahan McSweeney and the Foolkes brothers. McNeese competes in Division 1 of the southland conference of the NCAA.
Grace has been a member of Belgooly A.C. since 2007 representing her club at County, Munster and All Ireland championships both indoors and outdoors. Grace has also represented her school Scoil Mhuire, Crosshaven at Munster, All Ireland and International level in both multi events and individually in High Jump, Long Jump, Shot and hurdles. Grace has also competed with distinction in both the English and Scottish championships in the same events.
2014 was an exceptional year for Grace winning at all grades but the highlights were 10 All-Ireland medals

Grace set many PB's in 2014 notable senior heptathlon score of 4358 and high jump of 1.71m
