Monday May
the 5th saw Belgooly AC heading to Waterford
for the Munster
junior championships and juvenile combined events championships on another wet
and very windy Irish summer day. Grace McKenzie was our sole representative in
the Junior Championships and in preparation for her up coming trip to the UK for their
U20 Heptathlon championships Grace took on 5 of her technical events with great
success. In very testing conditions she put in some great performances cheered
on by her 4 young club mates who were taking part in the combined events of
Danny Kelly, Ross Corkery, Eoghain Nash and Padraig Nash.
