Juvenile Report 2013

The 2013 indoor season is in full swing and a large number of the clubs young members are enjoying the competitions. First up were the under 9 to under 12s who travelled to Nenagh on the 19-01-13 for an open competition. Congratulations to all those who won medals, U9 60m Max OReilly silver, Danny Kelly U10 60m bronze medal and gold in the long jump, U11 300m Eoin Nash silver medal and Adam Turner who took gold in both the long and the high jump U12. Well done to all who took part.

On the 26-01-13 the club travelled to Athlone for the all Ireland combined events championships. A great day was had in the brand new state of the art indoor arena. Club athletes Grace McKenzie and Paudrig Nash did the club proud on the day. Grace won the youth title (U17& U18) while Paudrig took silver in the U14 loosing out by just one point on the gold. He will be looking to improve on this at the Munster combined events on the 09-03-13
