A total of 188 runners turned out for the Kinsale Regatta 5 Mile Road Race on Friday evening, the 31st of August 2009. Despite the wet weather all day, the rain stopped just before the start of the race to let the runners race in near perfect conditions. We would like to thank everyone for taking part and making the race such a success. As half of the entry fee was for charity, a total of €940 was raised for the Kinsale Community Hospital.
